Olympus Solutions is seeking a Test Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and reporting of testing activities in support of Federal Student Aid (FSA) IAM programs. The Test Manager will lead user acceptance, performance, and compliance testing to ensure all system releases meet requirements and are fully fit for end-user adoption. This role requires strong technical knowledge of IT testing for IAM and AWS GovCloud environments, along with leadership in supervising test engineering teams and managing large-scale, highly available systems.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 7+ years of experience in IT testing as a Test Manager, Test Lead, UX Manager, or UX Lead.
  • Strong technical knowledge of testing for Information Technology, IAM, and AWS GovCloud systems/services.
  • Proficiency in ITIL Foundation practices and managing agile development teams.
  • PMP certification desired; mandatory if candidate does not meet the full experience requirement.
  • Proven success delivering comprehensive test management across large-scale, highly available systems integrated with mission-critical applications.
  • Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science and engineering.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior government officials.
  • Ability to coordinate and communicate across internal delivery teams, client teams, subcontractors, and external providers.
  • Must have and maintain a Public Trust (Tier 4/6c) clearance.

Responsibilities
  • Administer and manage test events (environmental, operational, or performance) in line with organizational processes and standards.
  • Design and execute test plans with a strong foundation in testing theories, principles, and methodologies.
  • Supervise employees engaged in test engineering activities, including staffing, scheduling, and coordination.
  • Direct engineering and technical personnel in test design, fabrication, and execution for system and subsystem components.
  • Manage test-control apparatus, collect data, and prepare final test reports.
  • Ensure successful outcomes for each release by verifying systems are ready for production use.
  • Lead IT testing operations across multiple categories including user acceptance, intra-system, performance, and compliance testing.
  • Coordinate with senior government officials, client teams, internal service providers, and subcontractors to align testing scope and quality management plans.
  • Monitor and manage testing projects through execution to ensure high-quality, on-time completion.
