ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven experience in manual testing across complex systems and large-scale enterprise projects.
  • Demonstrated background in the Telecommunications sector , preferably within enterprise transformation or OSS/BSS environments.
  • Strong test governance knowledge – with hands-on experience defining and enforcing test processes, documentation standards, and quality gates.
  • Experience working independently across multiple concurrent projects in matrixed environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Sound understanding of the full SDLC/STLC and Agile methodologies.
  • Experience with test management tools (e.g. HP ALM, JIRA, Zephyr, or similar).Ability to work both strategically and tactically – managing testing from both leadership and execution standpoints.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking an experienced Test Manager (Quality Engineering) to join our dynamic consulting team, supporting a leading client in the telecommunications sector . This role is ideal for a testing professional with strong manual testing, test governance, and multi-project coordination experience who thrives in fast-paced environments.
As part of our consultancy, you’ll be delivering high-quality testing services across complex, enterprise-scale Telco programs. You’ll be instrumental in upholding best practices in test governance, while ensuring quality outcomes and smooth delivery across concurrent initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Own and manage end-to-end manual testing efforts across multiple Telco projects.
  • Lead and execute testing strategy, planning, design, execution, and defect management.
  • Apply and uphold test governance frameworks , ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and audit/compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues.
  • Coordinate testing activities across multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.
  • Provide reporting and insights on test progress, quality metrics, and risk.Mentor and guide junior testers when required.
