Description:
RedMatter Solutions is seeking a qualified Test Manager to lead testing activities in support of a government customer.

The Test Manager will:

• Administer testing events in accordance with the client’s processes and procedures.
• Receive direction from senior team members and provide test event data and results.
• Design and execute tests with an understanding of both theories and principles related to the systems, components, and products being evaluated.
• Collect test data and finalize test reports.
• Supervise test engineering personnel and oversee test-related activities such as staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning.
• Contribute to planning engineering schedules and monitor performance against estimates.

Requirements:

• Experience managing, leading, coordinating, and working with customers to ensure all testing aspects are fulfilled prior to each release, for large-scale, highly available systems integrated with business-critical applications
• Experience supervising substantial IT testing operations, including user Acceptance Testing (UAT), Internal systems testing, Intra-system testing, Performance and compliance testing, and Support across varied employee roles and skills in diverse environments
• 7+ years of experience in Information Technology as a Test Manager, Test Lead, User Experience (UX) Manager, or UX Lead
• Strong technical understanding of IT testing, including Identity and Access Management, and AWS GovCloud systems/services
• Responsible for end-to-end testing activities to ensure that each release is fit for use by the end-user
• Proficiency in test management tools, skills, and techniques aligned with ITIL Foundation standards
• PMP Certification (desired)
• Experience working with Agile development teams and understanding how changes (enhancements, defects, or requests) impact application architecture
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Non-Sensitive / High Risk (Public Trust) Tier 4/6c clearance
• Expert knowledge of recent advances in computer science and engineering
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior government officials
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal teams, client project teams, service providers, and subcontractors to understand the current environment, align with contract requirements, and propose solutions, develop and secure approval for test scope, schedules, and quality management plans and support implementation of technical solutions
• Demonstrated experience in executing, monitoring, and managing test plans or projects to high-quality, successful completion.
