Position Summary: AAA United States, Inc. has partnered with a company in Wichita, Kansas that is one of the world's largest manufacturers of aerostructures for commercial airplanes, defense platforms, and business/regional jets. With expertise in aluminum and advanced composite manufacturing solutions, the company’s core products include fuselages, integrated wings and wing components, pylons, and nacelles. The Test Mechanic is responsible for performing power-on, functional, and troubleshooting testing of aircraft systems to ensure operational readiness and compliance with engineering requirements. Essential Functions: Perform power-on testing of aircraft systems including avionics, flight controls, hydraulics, landing gear, electrical systems, pressurization, oxygen systems, fire suppression, and flight data systems. Troubleshoot and analyze test results to identify and resolve system discrepancies. Conduct functional testing of integrated aircraft systems including communication, environmental control, surveillance, and pitot-static systems. Load and verify operational software required for system functionality. Utilize precision measurement tools and laser tracking equipment to capture and validate engineering data. Perform inspections of fabricated and procured parts, including first article and final inspections. Operate and apply shop mathematics, technical manuals, and specialized test equipment to complete assignments. Requirements Minimum of 10+ years of aircraft maintenance and testing experience Strong background in power-on systems and integrated avionics Experience with complex troubleshooting of aircraft systems Proficiency with precision measuring instruments and functional test equipment
