Description Position Summary The Test Operator is responsible for performing product testing in accordance with established procedures and Minimum Performance Specifications (MPS). This role requires a general familiarity with electronics, test equipment, and testing methodologies, as well as the ability to work accurately, professionally, and with strong attention to detail. Duties & Responsibilities Learn and perform all testing processes required within the assigned area. Understand and follow detailed test procedures. Perform all assigned tests in an unbiased, consistent, and professional manner using criteria defined in the MPS. Collaborate with the Service Lead to identify, correct, and prevent failures, errors, or issues that may affect product quality or integrity. Requirements Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Basic computer proficiency. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. High attention to detail with strong organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team. Strong time-management skills and ability to maintain confidentiality. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required. Relevant experience in electronics, testing, or a related field preferred. Working Conditions & Physical Demands Work is performed primarily in a production environment and may require: Walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, handling, and hearing. Use of large and small tools, radios, and computer keyboards. Sitting for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day). Lifting up to 20 pounds (primarily radios or related equipment). Visual focus for monitors and test equipment. Regular communication with lead technicians and team members. Operation of PCs and standard office equipment. Travel between floors or buildings as needed. Exposure to noise, vibration, oils, solvents, and chemicals. BK Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
