Description
Lead end-to-end test management for projects in the financial services/insurance domain, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop detailed test strategies, plans, and schedules aligned with project objectives and timelines. Coordinate with business analysts, developers, QA teams, and stakeholders to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and deliverables. Manage test teams, assign tasks, track progress, and ensure adherence to quality standards. Oversee all testing activities: functional, integration, system, user acceptance, and regression testing. Identify test automation opportunities and coordinate automation efforts. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g., SOX, PCI, GDPR) and industry best practices. Manage defect lifecycle, driving defect triage meetings and ensuring timely resolution. Track, report, and communicate testing progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management. Prepare and deliver comprehensive test reports, dashboards, and metrics. Support audit and compliance activities by providing required test documentation. Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and methodologies. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing, with at least 3 years as a Test/QA Project Manager. Strong domain knowledge of financial services and/or insurance (banking, wealth management, claims processing, underwriting, etc.).Expertise in HR processes and systems (timecards, payroll, recruitment, onboarding). Proven experience managing large-scale testing projects and distributed teams. Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end projects, preferably with a focus on HRIS or cloud-based software particularly SuccessFactors EC Payroll implementations. Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid. Hands-on experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, HP ALM, qTest). Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT, Tosca) is a plus. Understanding interdependencies, Azure DevOps, product lifecycle management, SQL. Excellent planning, organizational, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Relevant certifications (e.g., ISTQB, PMP, CSM) are highly desirable.
