• Conceptualization, development and maintenance of automated test frameworks for our software and container deployments
• Automation and execution of integration, system and end-to-end tests with a strong focus on our Kubernetes-based environments
• Close collaboration with the DevOps, Data, and MLOps teams to seamlessly integrate automated quality checks into existing CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensuring the functionality, reliability, and performance of our microservices and containerized applications under real-world conditions
• Establishment of QA standards, continuous monitoring of test coverage, and proactive identification and reporting of software errors.
• Optional (but a plus): Support for the validation and testing of machine learning models and data-driven pipelines

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

• Successfully completed studies in computer science, software engineering or a comparable qualification
• Relevant professional experience in software quality assurance (QA) and in building automated test infrastructures
• Strong practical experience in testing containerized applications and sound knowledge of test automation within Kubernetes clusters.
• Confident handling of common test frameworks and automation tools (for backend, API and possibly frontend) as well as scripting knowledge.
• Experience in integrating test suites into modern CI/CD workflows (e.g., GitLab CI, GitHub Actions)
• A big plus (but not a must): Basic understanding of machine learning or initial experience with testing ML/AI systems.
• A strong awareness of quality, a structured way of working, and a solution-oriented approach to complex software architectures.
• Strong cooperation and communication skills in cross-functional engineering teams
