Responsibilities POSITION SUMMARY: We are currently hiring a Test Specialist 1- Data Communication Specialist to support our global software client in Vancouver, Washington. This role is responsible for obtaining, managing and transforming critical datasets from multiple sources, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency for downstream reporting and analytics for our client’s sustainability team. This is a full-time, long-term, onsite position with Monday-Friday day shift hours. You also must reside locally to the client-site in Vancouver, Washington, and must already be eligible for employment in the US without visa sponsorship. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING: Acquire data from multiple sources via verbal and written communication for reporting. Capture, consolidate, validate, and load data from external sources into Excel databases. Compile and maintain accurate product documentation and reports, including collecting, tracking and accurately reporting data using predetermined spreadsheets and applicable databases. Perform coding in Excel for accuracy in reporting and report generation. Ad hoc reporting on project progress for the team. Present and communicate data findings as requested by the client. Perform additional duties as assigned. Qualifications Expert experience and proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including coding, pivot tables, report generation, charts, advanced data manipulation, and etc. Coding experience is a +, experience with VBA and Python coding languages is a ++. Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with communicating and working with cross-functional teams. Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills required with the ability to effectively communicate with varied levels of employees. Ability to successfully work independently and with a team. Effective time management and organizational skills. Adaptable and flexible to evolving processes and changes of priority. High school diploma (or equivalent) preferred. 2-year STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) technical/college diploma is highly desirable.
