Overview Element has an opportunity for a Test Technician to join our team. As a Test Technician, you will be responsible for building and running a diverse set of test programs which test the physical limits of aerospace hardware. Whether it involves intentionally bursting hydraulic lines, to fire testing fuel pumps, or contaminating pneumatic valves, there is a tremendous variety and intrigue in the work performed at our location. Salary: $25- $45/hr DOE Responsibilities Fabricating and building unique hydraulic, pneumatic, and fuel systems Executing specialized tests on a wide range of mechanical hardware Creating and logging data captured on custom data acquisition systems Operating a variety of test equipment including pumps, blowers, compressors, motors, gas or electric heaters, and more Engaging with other lab personnel to define and implement lab improvements Maintaining the test facilities equipment Working both independently and as part of a team Skills / Qualifications Is this job for me? You will need: Fabrication, automotive, machining or other mechanical skills that will translate in unique ways to testing Capability to work with a variety of tools and equipment To bring a toolbox onsite with essential tools (list to be provided) Experience with sensors or basic electrical devices Additional skills or experience that fits well with this role: Automotive mechanic experience Welding and Metal Fabrication Instrumentation experience Experience in a testing related field Associate degree in related testing or mechanical field preferred Diversity Statement At Element, we always take pride in putting our people first.
