Description
The Test Technician I will perform testing, troubleshooting and repairs on single phase and three phase medium voltage UPS systems High School Diploma or GED from an accredited school A minimum of one year of work experience in electronics with testing and troubleshooting skills Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50 mile radius) will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Knowledge of switchboard and switchgear operations; electrical and electronic devices Two years post-secondary education with an Associate's Degree in electronics from an accredited school Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications Demonstrated ability to take and give direction Ability to use good judgment and problem solving skills to make informed decisions Ability to communicate effectively across all levels Basic computer knowledge of Windows based operating systems and programs Ability to read and understand formal, informal drawings, and/or electronic schematics Ability to completely test and troubleshoot electronic products Ability to work daily and/or weekend overtime, willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to distinguish colored wiring Ability to stand for extended periods of time. Repetitive lifting, bending, and squatting is inherent to this position.
