We utilize the student's classroom curriculum as well as offer study skills & test prep programs. We are a team of education enthusiasts. Our mission is to help students achieve their goals and reach their highest potential! We are seeking tutors for ALL subject areas K-5 Elementary. This is a part time contracted position offering $18-22/hr. We encourage applicants from the Carson Valley area to apply. PLEASE NOTE: This position is in-person tutoring within the student’s home. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one tutoring to K-5 Elementary Conduct tutoring sessions at students’ homes, public locations, or virtually as per the student’s preference. Develop personalized learning plans with the student to help them achieve their academic goals. Maintain open communication with parents/caregivers and provide weekly session reports. Engage with students to understand their unique learning styles and challenges and adapt your teaching methods accordingly. Qualifications: Experience and Education: Minimum of one year tutoring or teaching experience Strong background in the subject areas you wish to tutor Minimum of AA Degree. Preference shown to candidates with Teaching Certificate or BA and above Local School District Experience: Highly valued, especially if you have experience within the Nevada school district system. Personal Qualities: Patience, kindness, and excellent communication skills are essential. A genuine passion for teaching is a must. Reliability: Must have reliable transportation and pass a standard background check.
