Candidates for this role should possess strong knowledge and practical experience in the following areas:

  • Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs): In-depth understanding of VFD principles, operation, and applications.
  • Industrial Motor Control Validation: Proven expertise in validating the features, performance, and efficiency of industrial motor control systems.
  • Industrial Control Protocols: Familiarity with common industrial communication protocols, including MODBUS/TCP, BacNet, and EtherNet/IP.
  • Test Equipment Proficiency: Hands-on experience with essential test and measurement equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and grid emulators.
  • Operating Systems: Competency across multiple operating systems, including macOS, Linux, and Windows.
  • Python Programming: Strong programming skills in Python for automation and data analysis.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Proficient with Git for version control and experienced with Gitlab CI for continuous integration.

As a Scrum Master for the System Test team, your responsibilities will include:

  • Scrum Master Role(30%): Drive agile processes by managing the backlog, facilitating sprint planning in collaboration with the Product Owner and other Scrum Masters, and leveraging the expertise of the System Test team lead.
  • Advanced Test Design & Execution (20%): Develop and execute comprehensive test cases to rigorously validate the features, performance, and efficiency of our VFD motor control systems, consistently exceeding specified requirements.
  • Comprehensive Reporting (20%): Generate detailed and insightful test reports for effective communication with management and customers, ensuring transparency and clarity on validation outcomes.
  • Test Automation Development (30%): Design and implement robust Python programs to automate the validation of key VFD functionalities, enhancing efficiency and test coverage.

Experience requirements:

  • 3 years - writing and executing test cases to validate industrial equipment (VFD, PLC, Panel)
  • 3 years—Python programming
  • 2 years—Scrum master of a test and validation team
  • 1 year—install/configure/operate/support variable frequency drive

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
