KONE has an excellent opportunity for Field Support Technicians (testers) to join our team in Dubai. Responsibilities and key activities: Caring about safety on site by applying good safety practices. Manage on-site communication with the customer for day-to-day testing and commissioning activities with continuous coordination with the Field Supervisor Test the unit in accordance to the codes & standards to ensure it is mechanically and electrically safe, the internal and external KONE quality standards are Fulfilled, and the unit is in function according to contractual requirements. Commission the equipment according to agreed specifications and commissioning instructions. Carrying out the final inspection and signing the final inspection documents Perform or participate in the notified bodies or consultant inspections. Also, participate in the customer handover if necessary. Identify installation quality issues and deviations that require corrective action and report them to his Field Supervisor, who is responsible for all site activities. Actively participate in quality working groups to improve based on snag lists produced, other technical issues found during inspections, and information sharing. Apply lean principles to avoid interruptions at work and consistently follow and promote huddles initiatives. Are You the One? Diploma in Electrical or Electronics Engineering Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in the elevator industry (mandatory) Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Proficient in verbal and written English communication Basic IT skills preferred Candidates with a strong digital foundation are highly desirable for this position.
