REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • Experience: 1 to 2 years of relevant experience (internship experience is relevant).
  • Required knowledge: Mastery of MATLAB/Simulink.
  • Language skills :. French is mandatory. Knowledge of English is required for reading technical documentation available only in English.
  • Skills required: Organizational skills, rigor and determination, passion for problem solving, autonomy, excellent interpersonal skills, good judgment, analytical skills, ability to diagnose anomalies, innovation, enjoy challenges and have the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

PRIMARY DUTIES:

  • Perform unit tests and system integration for delivery to clients.
  • Write reports and documentation intended for clients or staff members.
  • Analyze test results and identify anomalies.
  • Identify and resolve system malfunctions (hardware and/or software).
  • Track anomalies from identification through to validation.
  • Responsible for designing functional, technical, and integration test scenarios for various systems in production.
  • Participate in defining acceptance criteria.
  • Write test procedures and reports related to the tests to be performed.
  • Contribute to the automation/optimization of test sequences and the development of test benches (test jigs).
  • Participate in the installation and maintenance of test environments.
  • Support production test technicians.
  • Define, support, or perform inter-team integration tests.
  • Participate in technical support and provide expertise during simulator commissioning.
  • Perform any other related tasks necessary for the proper functioning of the department.
