MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in testing and commissioning of MEP systems in large-scale construction projects.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering

OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

Lead testing and commissioning of MEP systems, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. Coordinate activities, troubleshoot issues, and prepare detailed reports. Supervise personnel, manage budgets, and maintain safety standards. Stay current on industry trends to enhance practices.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Lead the development and implementation of testing and commissioning plans for MEP systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with project teams to schedule and coordinate testing activities, minimizing disruption to project timelines while maximizing efficiency.
• Conduct thorough inspections and performance tests on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to verify functionality and safety.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues during the testing phase, providing actionable solutions to ensure timely project delivery.
• Prepare detailed reports of testing results and commissioning activities, documenting compliance with industry standards and client requirements.
• Train and supervise site personnel on proper testing and commissioning procedures, fostering a culture of safety and quality.
• Engage with clients and stakeholders to present findings, address concerns, and provide updates on project status and testing outcomes.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and technologies related to MEP systems to enhance testing and commissioning practices.
• Ensure that all testing and commissioning activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Manage budgets for testing and commissioning activities, ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining high standards of quality.
