We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Testing & Commissioning Engineer to join our railway engineering team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for validating, testing, and commissioning electrical, control, and communication systems across industrial, railway, or factory automation environments. This role ensures that systems meet technical specifications, client acceptance criteria, and safety standards before going operational. Job Description Understand and interpret customer acceptance criteria for specific projects and products. Perform structured handover processes from manufacturing to commissioning phases. Strictly follow defined test procedures and ensure accurate execution. Conduct and document all serial test procedures, ensuring comprehensive coverage and traceability. Diagnose and repair failures promptly as they occur during testing. Track, analyze, and document system failures with precision and rigor. Escalate unresolved issues to the Test Manager in a timely manner. Identify and propose improvements to existing testing and commissioning processes. Work closely with Test Engineering, Industrial Quality, and Manufacturing teams to ensure alignment and performance. Monitor individual and team Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to drive accountability. Adhere to all EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) procedures and policies. Report deviations, near-misses, and safety incidents promptly and accurately. Qualifications Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics) or equivalent. 3–5 years of relevant experience in the Rail industry is mandatory. Proficient in English (spoken and written) Solid technical foundation in electrical, electronic, mechanical, and networking domains. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively across functions (engineering, quality, manufacturing, etc.). Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Comfortable working in complex environments across multiple sites and within multicultural teams.
