Description

We are seeking a highly experienced Plant Operations and Commissioning professional with extensive expertise in water, wastewater, and industrial plant environments. • Degree / Diploma / Field of Study in Engineering (Chemical, Environmental, Mechanical, Electrical). • Minimum of five (5) years of work experience as Commissioning Manager or Plant Operation Manager. • Minimum of ten (15) years of TOTAL work experience in Industrial Plant (i.e. Water, Wastewater, Power, Oil & Gas, Chemical Plants) Design, Engineering, Commissioning and/or Plant Operation. • Ability to work and maintain control under pressure. • Able to travel and deploy to project sites within BW Water’s business territories. • Proven direct knowledge-base and experience in Water, Wastewater, and Industrial/Ultrapure Water treatment unit operations and technologies such as Chemical Pre-treatment (i.e. coagulation, flocculation), Clarifiers, Granular Filtration, Disinfection, UF, SWRO, BWRO, Ion Exchange (i.e. Softening, Demin), CAS, SBR, MBR, MBBR, Chemical Dosing Systems, Instrument/Plant Air Systems, etc. • Strong understanding of Plant Control Systems, Instrumentation, Process Control, Unit Operations and Testing and Commissioning. • Strong understanding and hands-on exposure in Plant Operation using PLC/SCADA, DCS, HMI, LCPs. • Strong exposure and familiarity in plant equipment operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance Expertise in Occupational Safety and Health, LOTO system, HIRAC, Permit-to-work systems, and HAZOP. • Strong Operational capability in testing tools and portable parameter analysers. • Extensive Data Interpretation and Analysis skills. • Effective People and Stakeholder Management skills. • Extensive applied Project Management skills. • Effective technical writing and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

The role involves leading testing and commissioning activities for water, wastewater, and industrial plants, requiring extensive expertise in plant operations and unit operations technologies. This includes managing control systems, instrumentation, process control, and ensuring operational readiness across various treatment processes.
