About the Role Responsible for conducting quality control tests to ensure that software meets specified standards and end user requirements. • SME of technical implementation, optimization, and support governance of Watermelon — the enterprise automation and testing platform. • Drive end to end automation strategy across system testing, regression, integration, and production assurance using the Watermelon tool. • Ensure high quality, scalable, and maintainable automation scripts and frameworks aligned to business and IT delivery objectives. • Partner with project teams to accelerate delivery timelines through automation adoption, reusable components, and continuous improvement. Serve as the technical SME for the Watermelon automation tool, providing configuration, customization, scripting, and best‑practice guidance. Develop and maintain automated test scripts, frameworks, and reusable components using Watermelon’s capabilities (e.g., Web, API, Mobile, Data validation). Establish and enforce Watermelon automation standards, naming conventions, folder structures, and coding practices. Integrate Watermelon scripts into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and support pipeline troubleshooting. Conduct POCs, evaluate new Watermelon features, and recommend adoption plans. Collaborate with BAs, Developers, and Test Managers to ensure full coverage of test scenarios and automation candidates. Optimize automation performance, reduce execution time, and improve stability of Watermelon test suites. Support SIT and UAT teams through Watermelon-driven test execution, reporting, and defect triage. Produce dashboards, metrics, and real‑time insights using Watermelon’s reporting and analytics modules. Troubleshoot automation failures, environment issues, and integration errors across interfaces and systems. Conduct training, coaching, and knowledge transfer for testers and business SMEs on effective usage of Watermelon. Ensure compliance with internal IT governance, audit, and evidence requirements using Watermelon execution logs and artifacts.
