CGI Federal is currently seeking a Testing Coordinator for future projects with prior experience supporting the Social Security Administration (SSA).
This role will be onsite in Woodlawn, MD (no remote). Candidates should reside within 2 hours of Woodlawn, MD

Responsibilities

YOUR FUTURE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Preparing test project plans that outline of all the activities and requirements related to the testing process. The testing plan serves as a general guide for the testing work and should be updated over time to reflect the testing requirements of the project in question,
  • Identify and manage testing tools that track the testing process,
  • Contribute to the grooming and development phases of a release to account for testing implications and stakeholder impacts,
  • Provide input on requirements gathering based on experience with testing to identify quality issues early and solve quality issues promptly,
  • Build and maintain a testing framework to guide project testing efforts,
  • Prioritize testing based on probability, impact, and other project risk factors, and
  • Manage and delegate testing tasks, deadlines, and key responsibilities.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THIS ROLE:

The Testing Coordinator shall possess a BS/BA or equivalent with a minimum of five years of information technology experience. They shall be responsible for verifying that new or enhanced systems or applications are functioning properly. This shall be completed before release to ensure that the product is ready for OIG users. The individual in this position shall be responsible for leading a team of testing professionals who check that applications and systems are functionality and fit-for-use by end-users. The individual shall coordinate with testers and developers to troubleshoot coding problems quickly and efficiently to ensure a productive workplace. They shall have a minimum of three years of experience with supporting an Inspector General or law enforcement agency.
Preferred Certification: SAFe Agile Software Engineering
