ABOUT BRAINSTER MATH

Brainster Math is an education company dedicated to helping students develop strong math skills through engaging, high-quality learning experiences. We are seeking a detail-oriented Test Engineer to ensure the smooth performance and reliability of our application.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2 years of proven experience in application testing (manual and/or automated).
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Consistently meets tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and execute test plans and test cases for application features.
  • Perform functional, regression, usability, and performance testing.
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using issue-tracking tools.
  • Collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Re-test fixed bugs and verify application stability.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate testing documentation.
  • Provide feedback to improve product quality and efficiency.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with automation testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of API testing and database validation.
