Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Testing Engineer at Kempower, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the ever-evolving EV market. On a typical day, you’ll create test specifications, conduct tests, and write reports, making a direct impact on our mission to revolutionize transportation.
The position will be adjusted based on the selected candidate’s experience and skills, ranging from Testing Engineer to Senior Testing Engineer.

ROLE SPECIFICS:

  • Defines test specifications, executes tests, and compiles detailed test reports as part of a comprehensive testing process.
  • Conducts standard and type tests, troubleshoots electronics issues, and ensures compliance with design specifications.
  • Leads, documents, and reports diverse testing services
  • Maintains and develops laboratory systems and equipment
  • Works closely with design engineers to optimize system reliability and develop robust test strategies for various operating conditions.
  • Strong hands-on approach, actively involved in practical testing and development work.
    At Kempower we work hybrid. In this position, most of the work will be done on-site at Lahti Headquarters.
    In this role, occasional travelling is required.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

  • Relevant educational background for example B.Sc. or M.S.c degree in Electrical engineering
  • Previous experience in power electronics lab environments and related processes
  • Knowledge of LabVIEW or other programming skills
  • A proactive and practical approach to work
  • Willingness to develop your skills and interest in contributing to the development of the sector
  • Independent working style within product development and research services
  • Adaptability to changing situations and priorities
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
    As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus but not required.
