THE ROLE

As a Testing engineer at Kempower you will:

• Testing advanced electronic tests and designing test setups
• Innovate products and solutions alongside work
• Develop and test for example inverter technology as a part of RDI team member
• Lead and report various kinds of testing services as well as develop laboratory’s working environment and work safety
• Maintain laboratory systems, develop the laboratory and design laboratory test equipment
• Conducting performance and efficiency tests on power electronic systems to ensure compliance with design specifications
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues related to power electronics circuits, including thermal management
• Collaborating with design engineers to optimize the efficiency and reliability of power electronic systems
• Developing test strategies and methodologies for characterizing the performance of power electronic devices under different operating conditions

In this role, occasional travelling is required.
At Kempower we work hybrid. In this position, most of the work will be done on-site at Lahti.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• Relevant educational background for example B.Sc. degree in Electrical engineering
• A proactive and practical approach to work
• Willingness to develop your skills
• An interest in contributing to the development of the sector
• Independent working style within product development and research services
• Knowledge of LabVIEW or other programming skills
  Most importantly we appreciate an entrepreneurial attitude, and hunger to learn new and bring one’s knowledge to the team in order to ensure success for the team and for the company.
  As our official company language is English, we expect you to have good English skills. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus but not required.
