About the role
Purpose of the Role
· Develop and implement testing strategies and plans to ensure the quality of our technology products.
· Lead and manage the testing team, providing guidance, training, and support.
· Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, regression, and performance testing.
· Collaborate with product development teams to identify and resolve software defects.
· Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices for software testing.
· Analyze test results and produce detailed reports for management and stakeholders.
· Continuously improve testing processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
· Manage test environments and maintain test data integrity.

· The role implements and influences strategy by collaborating with product development teams to integrate testing into the development lifecycle.
· Influence extends to external stakeholders, ensuring that products meet external standards and client requirements.
Stakeholder Management
· The role involves communication and influence with both internal and external stakeholders.
· Managing stakeholders involves a high degree of complexity, requiring clear communication of testing needs and results within and outside the span of control.
Team Management
· The Testing Manager is responsible for the overall management of the testing team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
· Ensuring team cohesion and productivity in a dynamic and often high-pressure environment.
What you bring
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
· Proven track record of managing and leading a testing team.
· Strong knowledge of testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and leadership abilities.
· Experience with automated testing tools is would be a significant benefit.
· Experience of testing in a low-code environment (Outsystems) would be a significant benefit.
· Detail-oriented and methodical approach to work.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
· Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
· Passionate about technology and continuous improvement.
