Job Description
Role Purpose: Manage and oversee the safe and effective testing and commissioning of trains. This includes leading on-board operations, ensuring train readiness, and maintaining safety throughout the test campaign.
Start of job position: ASAP
Location: Various customer sites, test centers, and public railways

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Essential: Extensive experience in rolling stock testing, commissioning, or validation with a strong understanding of train systems.
  • Desirable: Experience managing complex test campaigns, knowledge of railway infrastructure, and proficiency in English.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, communication, stress resilience, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities
  • Operational Management:
  • Coordinate on-board activities, manage test contributors, and ensure train configuration is ready for testing.
  • Authorize train movements and maintain test documentation.
  • Safety & Compliance:
  • Enforce safety protocols and railway rules.
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage on-board emergency procedures.
  • Serve as the on-board safety authority.
  • Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Liaise with site managers, rescue services, and customer representatives.
  • Support communication between T&C, Validation, and Product Introduction teams.
  • Training & Accreditation:
  • Maintain required certifications and participate in safety audits.
