DEPARTMENT

This position is with the Florida Center for Reading Research (FCRR) located at 2010 Levy Avenue in Innovation Park.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to administer assessments to elementary school-age students.
• Ability to engage and communicate with students and teachers in a school setting.
• Ability to utilize technology for administering assessments.
• Strong interpersonal skills, strong teamwork skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Strong oral communication and problem-solving skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience working with elementary-age students in a school setting.
• Bachelor’s degree.

• Responsible for accurately and proficiently administering assessments to students, scoring protocols, and entering data for a project examining how children learn to read.
• Assist with ensuring accuracy of confidential data and responsible for using university testing equipment and following lab requirements and standards.
• Attend weekly lab meetings as required.
