Description
  • Support and prospective assumption of tasks in test management and quality assurance for IT projects and applications
  • Creation, coordination and maintenance of test concepts, test plans and test cases together with project teams, IT and specialist departments.
  • Planning, coordination and control of testing activities as well as support for specialist departments in acceptance and acceptance tests
  • Review of requirements, technical and design documents, test cases, and error messages regarding quality and testability
  • Conducting and coordinating functional and technical tests, as well as structured error and deviation management.
  • Documentation and reporting of test results, as well as participation in release decisions and the creation of release documentation.
  • Consulting and support for specialist departments and project teams on issues relating to testing and quality assurance
  • Gradual development of expertise in test automation and identification of suitable test cases and processes for automation.
  • Future development, maintenance and further development of automated tests, especially using suitable test automation tools such as Selenium or Ranorex
  • Prospective involvement in building a sustainable test automation architecture and infrastructure, as well as in integrating automated tests into CI/CD processes.
  • Continuous development and optimization of testing processes, methods and tools

 

Your profile: 

  • Completed studies in computer science, business informatics or a comparable professional qualification
  • Several years of practical experience in test management, test organization or in conducting software tests, ideally in the context of business-critical applications
  • Good knowledge of established test methods, test procedures and quality standards, as well as experience in test planning, test design, test execution and error management.
  • ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level or a comparable qualification; further ISTQB certification, for example in test management, test analysis or test automation, is desirable.
  • Basic knowledge of at least one modern programming or scripting language, as well as an understanding of fundamental software development concepts.
  • Prior practical experience or sound technical understanding in the field of test automation; knowledge of tools such as Aqua and Selenium or Ranorex is advantageous.
  • Willingness and ability to delve deeply into the design, implementation and maintenance of automated tests in the long term.
  • Excellent analytical and conceptual thinking skills, especially when evaluating complex professional and technical requirements.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills, as well as a confident demeanor when collaborating with specialist departments, development, IT and external service providers.
  • Structured, independent and self-reliant work style as well as a strong awareness of quality
  • Very good German skills
