Logistics Coordinator Job Summary: Texas Precious Metals is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to oversee vaulting operations, package processing, and inventory management. This role is critical to ensuring secure and efficient flow of precious metals within our facility, maintaining operational integrity, and supporting daily logistics functions. Logistics Coordinator Responsibilities: - Transport metals between depository and main facility - Process inbound and outbound packages - Prepare and monitor contractor schedules - Ensure accurate ERP data to match physical inventory - Lead and coordinate inventory audits - Track shipping backlog and maintain timely order processing - Order and maintain shipping supplies - Provide security escort for depository tours - Maintain cleanliness and safety compliance in the facility - Perform shared operational tasks as needed - All other duties as assigned by management Logistics Coordinator Skills and Competencies: - Forklift operation experience preferred - Firearm safety and Texas LTC license (or willingness to acquire) - Strong communication skills (verbal and written) - Intermediate MS Office proficiency - Practical judgment and instruction comprehension - Professional, organized, and team-oriented Logistics Coordinator Qualifications: - Some college coursework preferred - Logistics experience a plus but not required - High attention to detail and dependability essential Work Environment: Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing and outdoor areas, requiring use of PPE. Physical Requirements: Extended walking/sitting, occasional lifting up to 40 lbs., and some stooping and bending.
