Logistics Operations Job Summary The Logistics Operations position supports vaulting operations, inbound and outbound metals flow, shipping, packing, and inventory management. Logistics Operations ensures secure handling, accurate processing, and timely shipment of materials while maintaining safety and compliance standards. Logistics Operations Responsibilities Transport metals between depository and main facility. Process inbound and outbound packages accurately and securely. Handle special or abnormal orders according to specific instructions. Monitor shipping backlog and inventory to meet required timelines. Prepare shipping labels and documentation. Assist with inventory audits and reconciliation. Support packaging and shipment preparation. Maintain clean, orderly, and secure facility conditions. All other duties as assigned by management. Logistics Operations Skills and Competencies Strong written and verbal communication skills. Intermediate Microsoft Office proficiency. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Dependable, trustworthy, and team-oriented. Logistics Operations Qualifications Some college coursework preferred. Logistics or shipping experience helpful but not required. Highly detail-oriented and dependable. Physical Requirements Extended periods of sitting or walking; occasional lifting up to 40 lbs.; bending, stooping, and twisting as required. Logistics Operations Work Environment Primarily a climate-controlled office and vault setting with occasional movement to manufacturing areas where PPE may be required.
