JOB SUMMARY

Z. Hinchliffe & Sons Ltd., one of the UK’s leading fine woollen yarn spinners, is seeking an experienced Textile Mechanical Engineer to support the relocation and maintenance of woollen textile machinery at our mill in Denby Dale, Huddersfield.
This hands-on role involves machine disassembly, transportation support, reassembly, and general mechanical upkeep. Ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background, especially in textile manufacturing.

• Disassemble and reassemble various woollen textile machines
• Relocate blending and carding machinery
• Load and unload machinery onto wagons
• Replace worn or damaged parts
• Carry out mechanical maintenance and inspections
• Work with a team to ensure safe and efficient machine relocation
