SUMMARY KEY RESPONSIBILTIES Responsible for submitting samples for testing to CTL/UL, BV, and various other labs. Review production submissions against standards set in light box. Color matching ability will be an added advantage. Communicate closely with overseas offices, agents and factory managers while working through the QA process. Follow up on test reports with various testing labs, i.e., Consumer Testing, UL, BV, SGS and MTS. Responsible for following up on mini bulk samples, buyer approval samples and other sales samples. Responsible for inspecting samples upon received from overseas, prior to passing along to respective teams. Respond and handle daily emails as received within a 24-48 hours’ time frame. Requirements QUALIFICATIONS Working knowledge of testing, quality, inspection preferred. Ability to work independently; be a problem solver. Willing to learn and be flexible, organized, and responsible. Strong interpersonal communication skills. Proficient in MS Excel or spreadsheets EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelors’ Degree in related field of study: textiles or product development is preferred. 1-3 years’ experience in home textiles or Apparel Industry.
