OVERVIEW

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for hands-on work. This role involves various tasks related to machinery, processing and warehouse operations, making it essential for candidates to be reliable, good communcation skills, willing to learn and good attention to detail. The Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our weaving process runs smoothly and efficiently.

EXPERIENCE

  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
  • Demonstrated mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
  • Familiarity with assembly processes and techniques is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting regularly as part of the role.

Responsibilities
  • Operate moving/lifting machinery, such as stacker trucks, combi-lifts, etc
  • Understanding the process of a weaving loom to assist with changeovers.
  • Execute warehouse duties such as inventory management for raw materials required for the looms, stock organisation, and material handling around the weaving department.
  • Conduct heavy lifting of materials as necessary to support production activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects while adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote efficiency and safety.
