Education:

  • Graduate of a post-secondary program, ideally in communications, fundraising, or management.

Skills & Experience:

  • Previous experience working in an office environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, including donors, volunteers, sponsors, and staff.
  • Strong writing, proofreading, and editing skills, with experience developing and producing communication materials.
  • Project management and organizational abilities, with a proven track record of meeting deadlines and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative working style. Demonstrated ability to exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency with software such as Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe. Experience with Raiser’s Edge or other fundraising databases is considered an asset.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English. Proficiency in French and/or Mandarin is considered an asset.
