This full-time role is ideal for educators who are passionate about teaching Sanskrit and preserving the richness of classical language and literature while making it engaging and relevant for modern learners. With a minimum of 2 years of teaching experience, you will be responsible for delivering structured and interactive lessons to middle school students, ensuring both academic excellence and cultural appreciation. As a TGT Sanskrit Teacher, you will play a key role in building students’ foundational understanding of the language, including grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and literature. The role requires the ability to simplify complex concepts, encourage participation, and create an engaging classroom environment that promotes language learning through both traditional and innovative teaching methods. Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver effective Sanskrit lessons aligned with the school curriculum for middle-grade students Teach grammar, vocabulary, translation, and comprehension in an engaging and structured manner Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids to enhance understanding and retention Encourage students to appreciate Sanskrit literature, shlokas, and cultural significance Conduct regular assessments, tests, and evaluations to monitor student progress Provide constructive feedback and support to help students improve their language skills Maintain discipline and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment Participate in school activities, language events, and cultural programs Collaborate with other teachers and academic staff to ensure consistent curriculum delivery Maintain accurate records of student performance, attendance, and academic progress What Makes You a Great Fit Minimum 2 years of experience teaching Sanskrit at the school level Strong command over Sanskrit language, grammar, and literature Ability to explain concepts clearly and make learning interactive and engaging Passion for teaching and promoting classical languages and cultural heritage Good classroom management and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to connect with students and parents Patience, adaptability, and a student-centric approach to teaching Bachelor’s degree in Sanskrit or related field; B.Ed. or teaching qualification preferred
