Description

Responsibilities: Deliver high-quality, interactive lessons in Social Studies (History, Geography, Political Science, and Economics) for Classes 6 to 10. Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with the CBSE/State Board curriculum, incorporating diverse teaching strategies and technology integration. Assess student performance through regular tests, projects, presentations, and formative assessments; provide timely and constructive feedback. Foster critical thinking and analytical skills through discussion-based learning, case studies, and real-world applications. Collaborate with department heads and colleagues to develop interdisciplinary projects and school-wide academic initiatives. Maintain accurate records of student progress, attendance, and assessment outcomes. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences (BA in History, Geography, Political Science, or equivalent) with a B.Ed. qualification. Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience in a recognized school setting, preferably in the CBSE or Haryana State Board system. Strong subject knowledge and proficiency in teaching Social Studies to middle school students. Demonstrated ability to use digital tools (e.g., LMS, presentation software, interactive whiteboards) to enhance classroom learning. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and classroom management skills. Commitment to student-centered learning, inclusivity, and ethical teaching practices. Valid teaching certification (e.g., CTET or equivalent) is preferred. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, collaborative school environment in Ambala, Haryana.
