Nous recherchons un Chef Thaïlandais talentueux et passionné, possédant au minimum 5 ans d’expérience professionnelle en cuisine thaïlandaise authentique. La personne idéale maîtrise les techniques traditionnelles, les saveurs régionales et la sélection d’ingrédients frais, tout en étant capable de gérer efficacement les opérations de cuisine.

QUALIFICATIONS ET EXIGENCES

  • Minimum 5 ans d’expérience avérée en tant que Chef Thaïlandais ou dans un rôle similaire.
  • Maîtrise des techniques culinaires thaïlandaises (wok, vapeur, grillades, curry, nouilles, etc.).
  • Solide connaissance des herbes, épices et ingrédients authentiques de la Thaïlande.
  • Capacité à gérer une cuisine à fort volume tout en maintenant la qualité.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en leadership, travail d’équipe et communication.
  • Certificat en hygiène et salubrité alimentaire ou équivalent (atout).
  • Créativité et passion pour la gastronomie thaïlandaise.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Thai Chef with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in authentic Thai cuisine. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of traditional Thai cooking techniques, regional flavors, and fresh ingredient selection, while also being able to manage kitchen operations efficiently.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience as a Thai Chef or in a similar role.
  • Expertise in traditional Thai cooking methods (stir-frying, steaming, grilling, curry preparation, noodle dishes, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of Thai herbs, spices, and authentic ingredients.
  • Ability to manage high-volume kitchen operations while maintaining quality.
  • Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills.
  • Food handler’s certificate or equivalent (preferred).
  • Creativity and passion for Thai gastronomy.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience in menu engineering and cost control.
  • Knowledge of dietary restrictions and ability to create vegetarian/vegan alternatives.
  • Previous experience in Canadian or international Thai restaurants (asset).

    Pay: Up to $34.62 per hour
    Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
