What you will be doing: As a Food & Beverage Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient operation of food and beverage service. Your key responsibilities will include: Ensuring efficient, friendly, and professional food & beverage service is provided to all guests. Assisting with the setup and reset of Conference & Function activities. Leading, mentoring, and training the Food & Beverage team in accordance with Accor brand and service standards. Setting up systems to protect and maintain control of food service equipment, including regular stock takes. Implementing and maintaining high hygiene and cleaning standards for all food service areas. Ensuring team members are knowledgeable about menus, dietary information, allergens, beverages, and current promotions to maximize sales. Overseeing accurate guest billing and adherence to hotel procedures. Ensuring compliance with liquor licensing guidelines and responsible service of alcohol (RSA) principles. Greeting and welcoming guests, assisting with enquiries, and effectively taking and delivering orders. Maintaining a clean and neat presentation of bar and restaurant areas. Contributing to the recruitment, induction, and ongoing training of new team members. Ensuring team member presentation is consistent with hotel standards. Act as an Accor ambassador, enhancing the company’s image and promoting special offers and facilities. Demonstrating personal commitment to maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to WHS policies. Qualifications Your experience and skills include: Service-focused personality is essential and a passion for everything food and beverage. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a food and beverage outlet, with experience in meeting and events a must. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate. Strong knowledge of a variety of beverages, including beer, wine, spirits, and cocktails. Previous experience in a similar leadership or supervisory role is an asset. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to lead by example. Multicultural awareness and ability to work with people from diverse cultures. Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative in a dynamic environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship skills. Time management skills with the ability to multitask and work a variety of shifts. A strong focus and passion for hotel operations, embodying Accor values and Heartist culture.
