    A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a highly organised and efficient individual to provide support to the Perioperative Team. Reporting to the Perioperative Services Manager, the successful applicant will play a crucial role in the management of the theatre schedule, while ensuring efficient day to day running of the theatre department. Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided by the current team member in this role to ensure a successful transition into the role.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
  • According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
Responsibilities
  • Coordination of the operating theatre schedule, including entering patients onto the theatre lists via meditech and managing surgeon leave
  • Meeting deadlines with data entry of theatre utilisation
  • Managing incoming and outgoing calls, including phone calls from surgeons rooms, company representatives, and staff
  • Work alongside visiting medical officers, colleagues, patients and visitors to ensure a smooth hospital experience for patients.
  • Ordering of stationary items and distribution
  • Scanning of theatre sheets
  • Liaising with doctors and surgeons rooms to obtain missing MBS item numbers
  • Providing administrative support to the Perioperative Services Manager
