Responsibilities

BASIC PURPOSE:

Reporting to the Box Office Manager, the Box Office Theatre Representative provides personalized service to guests at the will call ticket counter as well as dealing with Customer Service issues as they arise on the night of the show. The Theatre Representative is also responsible for reconciling of Theatre Tickets according to scanned tickets used that evening.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES (TO FULFILL MAJOR PURPOSE):

  1. Responsible for handing out Dinner Theatre tickets to the customers for the performance that you are working.
  2. If seating issues arise, being able to problem solve and deal with the customer
  3. Reconcile seating for that performance recording any no show, lost stubs/tickets/ pay at doors.
  4. Answering Customer Questions and provide info when needed.
  5. Processing any walk up customer tickets. (Pay at Door)
  6. Inform Management of any difficulties/issues that need to be dealt with.
  7. Responsible for maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  8. Keep info well stocked for customers.
  9. Responsible for float of $50, this is to be kept in the safe after each shift.
  10. Balances at end of shift and adheres to cash-out procedures.
  11. Keep Job required information current.
  12. Attends monthly communications meetings.
  13. Adheres to dinner theatre & hotel policies and procedures.
  14. Attends work on time as scheduled
  15. Follows hotel grooming and dress standards
  16. Is aware of and compliancy with the latest Health & Safety policy. Minimizes safety hazards by following all safety rules and procedures
  17. Keeps immediate supervisor promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance.
  18. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and efficient manner in accordance with established company policies and procedures to achieve the overall objectives of this position.
  19. Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate.
