KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS · Pack out stock for theatre cases as per slate and surgeon preference. · Investigate and source new products as requested by surgeons and other users. · Manage and control theatre stockroom inventory including stock counts at month end. · Manage and control consignment stock at theatre level. · Accurate billing of theatre cases to patients accounts. · Facilitate the trial of new products at theatre level when requested. · Work in conjunction with case management in ensuring new products are approved by medical aid for use, and in respect to funder agreements. · Facilitate and manage Doctor feedback and/or complaints regarding surgical items. · Enforce the policy in respect to company Representative access to theatre. COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Educational Qualifications & Experience) Must be computer Literate Microsoft Word and Excel A basic/Post Basic level Pharmacy Assistant qualification or related qualification would be an advantage. Must have knowledge of stock control to include count, capture, investigations (Surgical Stock an advantage) Previous Billing Experience -DELTA 9 experience essential 3-5 Years Hospital / Pharmacy experience an advantage. Must have excellent inter-personal and communication skills. Must be able to work under pressure. Must be prepared to work Shifts, Weekends, Overtime and Public Holidays SKILLS (Practical & Technical) Excellent Communication Skills.
