The Ramsay Surgical Centre Cairns is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Theatre Technician to join our team!

YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• 2 years minimum Tech experience within an operating theatre (Essential)
• Certificate IV in Operating Theatre Technician Practice/Health Services Assistant or equivalent (Essential)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable working in a diverse team
• The flexibility to work a rotating roster

REQUIREMENTS

• Must provide a National Police Check conducted within the previous 12 months
• According to the role, Ramsay may require a Working-With-Children check and proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.

• Prepping surgical theatres for a variety of different procedures
• Performing cleaning duties
• Assisting in the theatres where required by other clinical staff
• Maintaining surgical equipment and implements
• Transporting and supporting theatre patients.
• Assisting in PACU cleaning and maintaining equipment
