The Transition to Theatre Technician Program An exciting opportunity awaits for Theatre Technicians who have recently completed their Certificate III in Health Services Assistance (Operating Theatre Technician stream). Our Transition to Theatre Technician Program has been designed to train and support candidates ready to begin their career in the hospital environment. The program is offered across our four St Vincent’s Private campuses – East Melbourne, Fitzroy, Kew, and Werribee – with full-time and part-time roles available, including weekend shifts on a rotating roster. You will work alongside experienced Theatre Technicians, Nurses, and Medical Practitioners, gaining hands-on skills while learning how to deliver safe and compassionate patient care in the operating theatre. This pathway provides the foundation for a long-term career as a qualified Theatre Technician within one of Victoria’s most respected private hospitals.
