Description

Newport Live is an award winning not for profit sport, leisure, and cultural trust; and registered UK Charity with an excellent track record of delivering innovative programmes and services to our communities and residents that ‘inspire people to be happier and healthier’.
One of our sites is the Riverfront Theatre and Arts Centre (‘The Riverfront’), where we aim to bring as much of the community as possible into contact with creativity and the arts, through professional performances, workshops, and film screenings.
Based in the City Centre, we are Newport’s only professional presenting theatre and arts centre, with two theatre spaces, a cinema, a visual arts gallery space, basement, dance studio, recording studio, workshop rooms, conference room, and a licenced café. Our popular line ups include our annual festive Pantomime, and the fantastic Big Splash summer festival (returning this July!)

OUR THEATRE TECHNICIANS ARE VITAL WITH THEIR PROVISION OF TECHNICAL SUPPORT FOR PERFORMANCES, SHOWS, BOOKINGS, AND EVENTS AT THE RIVERFRONT, AS WELL AS PROVIDING TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ACROSS OUR OTHER SITES WHERE REQUIRED.

We are looking for additional team members to join us on a casual basis, with the flexibility to commit to shifts as and when available.
With our busy Pantomime season fast approaching, we are especially looking for those who can commit to shifts throughout rehearsals and performances for this year’s exciting production of Rapunzel, running from November 2025 to early January 2026.
