Inherent Requirements A relevant nursing qualification (Diploma in General Nursing/ B Cur Degree) or equivalent NQF 7 qualification. Certified qualification in the specialist discipline is essential. Registration with the South African Nursing Council as a Registered Nurse. Compliance with the SANC code for a Registered Nurse and all applicable health care legislations. Responsibilities
The Theatre Unit Manager is responsible for managing acuities and skill mix to ensure cost-effective quality care, as well as overseeing all costs from the department. They will also ensure correct billing, stock management, and the timely compilation of files while identifying quality improvement opportunities.
