• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays according to performance schedules.

• Training will be provided in customer service, health & safety, and emergency procedures.

ROLE OVERVIEW

Ushers are vital members of our Front of House team. They ensure that every guest enjoys a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable theatre experience. Ushers assist with seating, provide information, uphold safety procedures, and represent the friendly spirit of TF Royal Theatre.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet patrons warmly upon arrival and assist them with directions inside the theatre.
• Check tickets and guide guests to their correct seats.
• Provide information about facilities, show times, and theatre policies.
• Support accessibility needs (e.g., assisting patrons with reduced mobility).
• Monitor audience areas to maintain a safe, comfortable, and respectful environment.
• Respond quickly and calmly to any incidents, following theatre safety and evacuation procedures.
• Assist with latecomer seating and ensure minimal disruption during performances.
• Help with merchandise sales or interval services when required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the auditorium and public areas before, during, and after performances.
• Deliver outstanding customer service as a representative of the TF Royal Theatre brand.
• May suit person in retirement.
