Responsibilities:

A BIT ABOUT THE ROLE

Do you have a strong background in children’s residential care? Are you focused and passionate about changing the lives of children and young people for the better? We have a unique opportunity for experienced therapeutic residential staff to join our team in the newly developed children’s homes in the Northeast for children and young people who are looked after. These are exciting, challenging and rewarding roles with the opportunity to make a huge personal impact.

As a Therapeutic Residential Worker, you will work with a wide range of professionals to ensure that the children and young people you support develop to their full potential. We will actively support you in your role and provide you with regular supervision / APR process and specialist training, from our newly developed Professional Development Centre.

  • Providing high quality services that support the needs of the children and young people.
  • Building excellent relationships with young people, their families and other care professionals.
  • Being an advocate for the wellbeing of the young people
  • Working within a Therapeutic model of care that has been specifically designed to support staff in providing trauma-informed, compassionate care for young people in residential care
