WORKING AT CQUNIVERSITY

Join a team where your work truly matters. CQUniversity is seeking a compassionate and motivated professional to support our commitment to a safe, respectful and inclusive environment for all students and staff.
You will be the first point of contact for students seeking support around personal safety, mental health, and wellbeing. You’ll play a vital role in providing trauma-informed, person-centred support to victim-survivors of complex and concerning student behaviours.
As part of the Safer Communities team, you’ll deliver therapeutic interventions, coordinate case management plans, conduct behavioural risk assessments, and work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to create safe, inclusive, and supportive pathways for students across our campuses.
If you’re passionate about making a positive impact and helping others thrive, we encourage you to apply.

  • Proven ability to respond to critical incidents, assess behavioural risks, and manage sensitive disclosures with empathy and professionalism.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across diverse teams and with external agencies.
  • Strong written communication and experience in maintaining case notes, risk assessments, and support documentation.
  • A valid Blue Card (Working with Children check) is mandatory.
