Job Details Job Location: 984 Norwich Turnpike JC - Uncasville, CT Position Type: Full Time Education Level: Graduate Degree Salary Range: $68000.00 - $68000.00 Salary/year Job Shift: First Shift Job Category: Clinical Description Position: Therapist 1 Program: January Center Location: Uncasville Salary: $68,000/year Schedule: Full Time; 40 hours; 1st shift; Monday-Friday Program Summary: The January Center is a residential program that provides case management and sex offender treatment to adult men with problem sexual behaviors who are under the supervision of the Department of Correction or the Court Support Services Division. Through treatment, the clients that we work with can reduce their risk of recidivism to promote community safety. Position Summary: The Therapist works collaboratively with other clinical staff under the supervision of the Clinical Program Director to provide comprehensive treatment to individuals with problem sexual behaviors. This position facilitates group treatment, provides individualized services as needed and collaborates with supervising officers and other treatment providers. The ideal candidate has the ability to establish respectful relationships with clients while maintaining strong professional boundaries, is recovery oriented and trauma informed in their approach and believes that all clients have the ability to change and lead productive and healthy lives. This position is exempt and works under the supervision of the Program Director. On-call responsibilities may be assigned for clinical consultation. Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work field Eligible for Clinical Licensure (LMSW, LPC-A, AMFT, LPC, LCSW, LMFT) 2 years of related experience Valid Connecticut driver’s license Regular and predictable attendance are required Orientation: If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees starting in January will be required to attend a mandatory two (2) day New Hire Orientation that will be held in our Roscommon office in Middletown.
