At Catholic Charities of Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton Counties, every team member plays an essential role in advancing our mission to serve vulnerable individuals and families with compassion and dignity. As part of our team, you will contribute to a wide range of services aimed at fostering hope, healing, and empowerment within the communities we serve.
The Children’s Home Therapists provide clinical assessment, therapy, and treatment planning services for youth placed in our Children’s Home. The Therapist supports two distinct programs within the Children’s Home: one serving youth requiring psychiatric residential treatment and another serving unaccompanied refugee minors who have entered the United States without a parent or legal guardian. This role ensures that all therapeutic services are delivered in accordance with licensing regulations, trauma-informed practices, and cultural responsiveness, supporting each youth’s emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs throughout their placement.

QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a closely related human services field is required.
Must possess and maintain licensure to provide therapy services in the State of Michigan (LLMSW, LMSW, LLPC, LPC, TLLP, or LLP).
Experience providing clinical services to children, adolescents, and families is required. Experience working in a residential, behavioral health, or child welfare setting is preferred. Experience delivering trauma-informed and culturally responsive services is preferred.
