Description

Under the supervision of the Clinical Director the role is the prime responsibility for resident care and treatment including:

  • Develop individual treatment plans with residents and complete required reports, documentation and assessments
  • Attend meetings both clinical and administrative .
  • Monitor resident progress, coordinate resident care and complete required documentation.
  • In accordance with Freedom from addiction Treatment Model, make decisions in a team based approach
  • Involvement in program development and evaluation, attend meetings and complete statistics On a rotational basis, provides on-call services during evenings and weekends.
  • Conduct educational presentations with residents as required
  • Respond to crisis and urgent situations.
  • Must be willing to work rotational shifts and weekends
  • Must have minimum 2 years experience in a residential setting/addiction services
  • Must have experience leading and facilitating groups such as Family Program

SPECIFIC SKILLS:

  • Must have experience in a residential treatment facility
  • Must have CCAC ,RSW,CRPO or equivalent
  • Must be an excellent team player punctual, reliable and mature
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent group facilitation, containment and crisis intervention skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to function well within a fast-paced environment
  • Full G driver license.
  • Vulnerable screening Sector.
  • First aid and CPR
  • psychotherapy background would be beneficial

Pay: $40,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
