Job Details Job Location: Heartland Youth Village - Bardstown, KY Salary Range: Undisclosed Description Purchase Youth Village is a Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility in Benton, Kentucky that serves the needs of children and adolescents with psychiatric, behavioral, and substance abuse issues. Purchase Youth Village is seeking a full-time therapist/counselor to provide individual, family, and group therapy for assigned residents at our Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility. Chosen candidate will also provide case management services which include coordination with referral sources, mental health centers, legal and criminal justice representatives to ensure continuity of treatment and discharge processes, staff training and development. Part-time employment could lead to full-time employment. Other position responsibilities include but are not limited to: Assess the mental and behavioral health status of residents. Provide therapy/counseling to residents utilizing professional counseling standards. Formulate short-term/long-term goals and counseling plans for patient care. Provide timely written documentation of counseling sessions, assessments, interventions and recommendations. Provide group and family therapy sessions. Provide in-service training on relevant topics for co-workers. Participate in treatment team/patient care. Maintain and update professional knowledge and proficiency through continuing education, staff meetings and workshops.
